Get to know Me

I grew up on our 5th generation orchard in mid-Michigan, Uncle John's Cider Mill. I learned my hard work, determination, and teamwork values here. Living where my family and I worked was challenging, but it was the most rewarding experience. I learned so much and enjoyed spending so much time with all of my loved ones.

In my first year at Michigan, I learned my passion is to be a creative force. I entered wanting to be an Astrophysics Major. Still, I pursued UX after taking a single course through the School of Information. I found so much creativity in UX with a mix of the technical aspects that I still love. This change in paths taught me that my life is not rigid and I can have creative liberty in my work and life.

In my free time, I love to be outside. I love hiking and exploring, and I am a Great Lakes surfer! I love to experience the world around me as it inspires me. So much creativity can be observed from everything around me, and I love to share that joy.
