USING UX TO FOSTER COMMUNITY AND SUPPORT SUSTAINABILITY

Early Years
Always building

From Lego, to small electronics, to forts in the woods, I was always creating something special. A nerd a heart with a passion for making the world easier to navigate and more joyous to explore.

The Teen Years
A huge nerd

A Science Olympiad champion with a passion for learning, I did just about all I could with what given. Here is where I discovered my passions for advocacy and sustainability, creating clubs and volunteering to support my local community.

College
Remembering creativity

Initially, I attended UofM to be an astrophysics major, but I soon learned I missed the creativity of designing I once contained. While taking a coding class, I learned of UX and found the perfect combination of technical skill and creative thought. I am also completing an Art & Design minor, and teach that very same coding class that let me find my passion.

I now spend my time designing websites for small businesses, volunteering at the campus farm, and teaching coding, graphic design, and UX concepts. I find my passion exists within the intersection of creative problem solving, education, and advocasy.

Rock on my friend.
